WebMost likely its because you're running in optimus mode where the GPU is fed through the AMD cpu (and the AMD integrated graphics chip) so you'd need to change the settings via the AMD software. To get access to the nvidia g-sync settings youd have to enable DGPU mode in synapse. This way the nvidia gpu gets directly connected to the screen.
