You experience the story and get to level 55 quicker. to see the story without having to go through the planet stuff if you dont want to.

My level 22 sniper needs (from zero exp after gaining a lvl) 109700 exp to up a lvl, he has 109700 rested exp. My lvl 30 jedi knight needs 237000 and i have 205000 rested exp… I just cant leave him along long enough.
