WebThe National Health Priority Areas NHPA is an initiative that addresses the major chronic diseases and conditions as well as injuries that together contribute significantly to the burden of disease in Australia. These health priority areas account for high health costs to Australian taxpayers. WebHealth literacy is a central focus of Healthy People 2030. One of the initiative’s overarching goals demonstrates this focus: “Eliminate health disparities, achieve health equity, and attain health literacy to improve the health and well-being of all.”.
